Mission Statement

CapeXit NPC, with registration number 2018/032978/08 (here after referred to as Capexit) came into being because of like minded individuals, business people and the agricultural sector, all sharing a vested interest for the future of the Western Cape, Northern Cape and certain areas of the Eastern Cape (here after referred to as the Cape).

• The uncompromising mission of CapeXit is to, as an activist group, in a non-violent manner, achieve independence for the Cape in co-operation with similar groups sharing the same goals.

• CapeXit has been formed to primarily protect and promote the interests of the various minority (indigenous) cultural groups in the Cape. The groups referred to are the Whites (Afrikaans and English speaking), Brown/Coloured people, the Khoi-San and the Cape Malay. CapeXit wants to see the interests of these groups enshrined in a negotiated Independent state, with policymaking powers to each of these groups where it concerns own affairs, as well as matters of common interest.

• CapeXit will, in a transparent manner, gather wide support from the public, business institutions and organizations and people who can identify themselves with the aims of CapeXit.

• CapeXit shall endeavour to achieve co-operation between the various minority cultural groups and in each of these groups identify organizations and/or individuals who will be willing to advance the interests of their own groups, as part of a holistic approach to own affairs. Such interests include cultural values, faith, historical heritage, community and local structures.

• CapeXit binds itself to the protection of Afrikaans and English, both languages spoken in the Cape, since the establishment of civilization in the province. CapeXit shall, to the best of its abilities, provide support to indigenous minority culture groups to protect their own cultural and historical treasures. As example the Khoi-San en Afrikaans languages and history.

• CapeXit will strive for the establishment of an economic model which will ensure the protection of the rights and continuity of the indigenous minorities in the Cape.

• CapeXit does not support the policies of BBBEE (broad based black economic empowerment) or AA (affirmative action), as the national demographics are not reflected in the population of the Cape. Furthermore, it is found that these policies, in an unconstitutional manner, discriminates against the indigenous minority culture groups.

• CapeXit does not support the re-opening of land claims.

• CapeXit will, as one of its first goals, endeavour to obtain a mandate from the minority culture groups in the Cape. The said mandate will lend further support to the organization's philosophies.

• CapeXit will work together with various organizations and in the event of structures already in place and providing CapeXit can identify with such an organization's goals, we shall make use of such structures to prevent duplicating resources.
